Exclusive:Mark Feuerstein Directing Episode of USA's 'Royal Pains
Actor associated with a growing throng of the U.S. stars-turned-directors, like Jeffrey Donovan, Tim DeKay, and James Roday. Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein takes his supervisor turn. Actor is set to helm the next episode, titled Back to the Future, which began production earlier this week. So he joins the growing list of actors moving behind the camera.
The practice has become increasingly important in the television landscape, where such stars as Jon Hamm of Mad Men, Chuck Zachary Levi and Kevin McKidd Grey Anatomy took his turn on stage. But nowhere is the pressure more evident than in the United States, where each of Jeffrey Donovan Burn Notice White Collar Tim DeKay Psych stars James Roday to have made at least one episode of his show, respectively. (Roday has three in this belt with two more forthcoming;. Donovan also claimed credit for a director in the series prequel to the film "The Fall of Sam Axe, this spring)
We take these opportunities because these people, who know this show better than them? "Says the head of the United States of the original manuscript of programming Bill McGoldrick, who acknowledges that the network often wait until the show is a couple of seasons, and he managed, before granting access to its stars.
The way he sees it, is a way to not only consider the interests of the actors, but also keep them invested and connected to their shows. A bonus: the press, which often comes with it. "When you have a passionate relationship with the show," McGoldrick said, "is naturally going to want to get into a position where else can have more influence than his day job is acting." To Feuerstein, who oversee the thirteenth episode of the third season bread, directing an episode has been a goal for some time. "I think it is a natural extension for anyone who has the means and passion for storytelling," said on a task, admits he feels intimidated by.
Calm your nerves is certain that he was able to hire two actors from his past, Ronald Guttman (who played his father in the first piece I did in New York) and stage actor Peter Francis James (who directed him in the game) for the episode. On the other hand, is particularly excited about the end of the episode that was published offer. "Both very good things happen," he springs on the phone the day before he starts shooting. "There is a car chase, a dream, a Macgyver like you've never seen before and a difficult history to go with Jack, her doctor and me."

Sophia Bush Promises No Drama On 'One Tree Hill' Set
Chad Michael Murray is back on One Tree Hill, at least one episode of season 9, and rumored on-set drama is the order. Why? Because he married Sophia Bush cost.
Yes, it is true, children. CMM is BACK!
I think people forget that they have not worked together for almost three or four years after their divorce in 2005. Why all of a sudden there's a drama? Not to mention, the current boyfriend of Sophia, Austin Nichols, Chad has also worked with before.
"Rumor Mill Dear, I would never ever demand can not be in a scene with a previous partner. Imports integrity and professionalism too much for me. Thx," Sophia tweeted.
What is Chad, took to Twitter to express emotion of being back with friends in Wilmington. "The secrets are out:) Im happy to say that the two" Luke "b is an amazing combination with the cast of OTH, Manufacturers & Crew 4 and p is 4 U fans big".
We are very happy too! Forget the drama, peeps. Leave it for brucas.

why Chad Michael Murray is back in one tree hill season 9?
Literally the best of the new One Tree Hill fans received in the last season of the show was the announcement of the return of Chad Michael Murray. The Internet is flooded with commentators expect to see Murray play Lucas again before the long-running series ended. We have known for some time that Murray would certainly be back, and now Murray was kind enough to give his reasons for returning to One Tree Hill.
Murray spoke exclusively TheInsider.com to explain why he chose to return. "The fans liked the show and rooted for each character throughout his career," he said. "I know how Luke returns to our fans, and I wanted to give them one last time," Lucas Scott. "Luke is back to them. " That, to me, is a noble reason to come back. Murray had a successful career, but he is still humble enough to return to the program that has helped make famous. It's just a prayer. "I think we just need one last look at the heart of wise character Luke, Mark and Luke live history tour please."
Scott Lucas returns to his hometown to Tree Hill as Haley comes to him for help. We have no idea what this means, so we always just wait and see what the show has in store for her fans. Expect to see Murray and the rest of the band when the show airs its ninth and final season in early 2012.

‘Straw Dogs’ leave out the point of the violence
The first rule of remakes, said the character of Neve Campbell, Sidney Prescott us this year in "Scream 4" is that "you can not [bleep] with the original." In "Straw Dogs" vicious and senseless, writer-director Rod Lurie - who was a film critic before he made films, so he should know better - violates this rule, to disastrous effect. He turns Sam Peckinpah devastating 1971 exploration of masculinity and violence in a crowd-Rousse schlocky and bloody. David and Amy Sumner, played by James Marsden and Kate Bosworth, a Los Angeles screenwriter and actor. They have temporarily relocated to Hollywood in Blackwater, Missouri, hometown Amy - and a place where she was unenthusiastic about recovery. (The original, starring Dustin Hoffman and Susan George in the lead roles, was set in rural England.)
The farm is owned by the late father of Amy, David is busy working on the screenplay, about the siege of Stalingrad during the Second World War. His glasses, preppy and sporty sneakers for the Jaguars, David is nothing like a pickup-driving, Confederate flag flying on Sunday to listen to a preacher-men, who were left, when Amy left town. And men, as personified by Amy muscle ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgard, from "True Blood"), David refuses to be forgotten.
First, the harassment is sweet, as when Charlie and his friends - hired to repair a barn on the property of Sumners - Amy Ogle, a sweat jogging. But events escalate, the questions for David Amy gets up at Charlie. And that's where Lurie considerably different - and fatally - the script and David Peckinpah Zelag Goodman wrote in 1971. In the original, the final showdown in the house of Sumners' becomes the last position of David Dustin Hoffman, where he said his manhood and, finally, he said. "Do not allow violence against this house"
Lurie in the remake of that crucial dialogue is missing, as well as the motivation behind it. Confrontation - with a band of temperament will help Coach Charlie Hedden (James Woods, up to his standards) to seek revenge of the mentally challenged sex offender (Dominic Purcell) - is reduced to a simple scenario of "kill them before they kill us", which deprive the violence of his dark purpose. Lurie carefully choreographed copies of many of Peckinpah's special situations, particularly violent in the end (even though he has not made the necessary changes, so that a key scene of violence, with the character Bosworth). But Lurie said the melody without eating. The result is a film that is a word or neutered.

Pitt Was Not Act "interesting Life" With Jennifer Aniston
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were married just five years ago, but his marriage seems to always find its way into the headlines and the tabloids. Now it has dug itself memories Pitt in an interview to be published in Parade magazine Sunday. According to the actor, his marriage to Jennifer Aniston had problems, and at first would not afford to admit.
"It 'became very clear that my intention was to try to find the film an interesting life, but I had to live an interesting life for me," says the Journal. "I believe that marriage was something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that was not." Pitt, whose latest film, "money ball", opens Sept. 23, is much happier now, he says, praising the partner Angelina Jolie. "One of the greatest, the smartest things I've ever had to give my children their mother, Angie," he says. "It 'a good mother. Oh, man, I'm so happy for her."
Pitt also addresses the many rumors that keep the couple and their children in the spotlight, why they were adopted foreign-born children, and how he got the scar he wears on his cheekbones. We guess it was not put there by a grant balance owned by a faithful member of the team of Jennifer Aniston, but will have to check PARADE. For now, there are additional excerpts from the interview on parade.com.

Will Eva Longoria Marry Again?
Does Eva Longoria hear wedding bells in her future?
The “Desperate Housewives” star stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Monday where co-host Kit Hoover asked if she ever sees herself taking a trip down the aisle again.
“I dont’ know, I don’t know. Only God knows that. I’m not opposed to it,” the actress, who is dating Eduardo Cruz and split from NBA star Tony Parker in 2010, said.
“I just don’t really give it a lot of thought right now. Ask a woman after divorce if she’s gonna get married, you won’t get an honest answer,” Eva told Kit.
If Eva does decide to marry again, it might come sooner than later.
“I never believe in long engagements. People think engagement is another step. It’s not another step. You’re single and then you’re married. The engagement is the planning part,” Eva continued. “So, I always agree with short engagements. So many guys are getting engaged to buy time, ‘Maybe this will buy me more time.’ But if I’m the bride I’m like, ‘Oh no, alright let’s get going.’”
The 36-year-old said for the time being she’s enjoying keeping her gal pals close by.
“I have a bunch of people at my house now. I have two girlfriends that stay with me because I have such a big house and they take care of the house when I’m gone, and it’s just so great to have my girlfriends there,” Eva explained. “I have so many people visiting from Europe and they’re always there. My house is always full, so I feel like I have a bunch of kids already.”
Desperate Housewives Cast Gets Dressed Up For A Season 8 Portrait
Desperate Housewives’ final season is set to premiere on ABC later this month. In anticipation of the beginning of the end of the drama-filled days on Wisteria Lane, a promotional photo featuring the series’ gorgeous leading ladies has made its way online. Check it out ahead!
Entertainment Weekly posted the photo (crediting Matthew Rolston/ABC), which features Vanessa Williams, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross, dressed up in shades grey and beige.
There don’t appear to be any apples present in the photo, however, it’s possible this is the cast's studio portrait and not the official promotional photo for the series’ eighth season. As good as the ladies look, the I've always loved the use of color in the Desperate Housewives photography. Hopefully we'll be seeing something with a bit more red in it soon.

Gossip Girl Season 5 Preview: Headed For Hollywood
I think all you Gossip Girl fans best live it up while you can because, let's face it, this unbelievably good-looking group of young actors can't stay stuck on one show forever. The show's leads are already branching out into film, especially Ms. Blake 'Best Legs Ever' Lively, and it's only a matter of time before someone throws in the delicately crafted, expensive hand-towels. Before I get too dramatic, I should stress they are returning for this season so put your mind at ease and go live it up in Hollywood with your favorite catty characters.
I would also make the wager that this 'ticking clock' countdown of the shows remaining time on air is why they are shaking things up this season and bringing the GG crew to Hollywood. I guess the strategy is go big or go home. For now, they are going big in Hollywood before hopefully retuning to the shows intended New York setting. Nothing says that you're desperate for story ideas than uprooting your entire cast of characters (I think entire, although it seems like Penn Badgely's Dan might not be going along for the ride) from the shows perennial, and I thought essential, New York setting and plopping them into a new locale. To be fair, it might just be a way to make this year a little more fun (in the sun... ugh) since maybe they are truly aware that the end is neigh.
If you recall, we last saw the Serena, Blair, Dan, Chuck and Nate (and all the other rich, snobby and snotty hangers-on that comprise the Gossip Girl gaggle) things were, well, getting a little complicated. Serena was off fighting Parallax with Green Lantern, Blair was singing country with Gwyneth Paltrow, Dan was being Emma Stone's love-interest in Easy A, Chuck was... wait, none of this happened on the show. I told you these twenty-somethings are branching out! You better enjoy this season in La-La Land with your favorite bunch of young socialites because, nothing, not even Blake Lively's amazing legs, lasts forever. However, we've still got this year and I'm sure they can find some drama on the west coast.

The Good, The Bad & The WTF: A Belated Bite Of “True Blood“
See my thoughts on Sunday evening "True Blood". Why so late you ask? Well, the long weekend was a bit wobbly on me. Because Sunday night felt like Saturday, I forgot to look, and next thing I knew was Monday and I was behind the "Bachelor Pad". But last night I finally caught up with Sookie, Eric and his crew. And generally, I felt a little ... failed.
When he jumps, good times and bad, and WTF episode this week. I can not believe that this brings the final Sunday. You really feel like this would be a sign in half.
The good:
* Pam toll Moon Goddess Emporium. "Can we skip these dips ** ts already Wiccan? I have a Mani / pedicure at the 4th"
* But Jason to stop the vampires from the flames I liked that she just arrived at the right time, and warned them that Sookie was inside. When everyone starts to say "f ** king Sookie" for assorted reasons, put everyone in their place. Go Jason!
* Alcide standing next to Sam, because hunting Marcus. Joe Manganiello is easily twice the size of Sam Trammell. Hot!
* Andy Bellefleur see the forest fairy. And when the light-ET finger thing, they have sex. This scene was fun, and I'm just happy that you are returning. I was worried that the plot was a block that is not coming back.
* Marnie Sookie breaks the magic. It 'been painfully demonstrated to us early on the scene Marni had harnessed the power of the sun, has a protective shield around the moon goddess, Emporium, and was so deadly to vampires. And so everything had to be dramatic when the assembled troops Marni (reluctantly), and were forced to move to the vampires plate. Fortunately, Sookie stops throughout the spell lightbombing lame scene.
* Jessica and Jason. Yay! These two are no more. When Jason was badly burned, Jessica saves. And he admits he has feelings for her.
* Jesus saves the day. Homedude course may have obtained this season a little nauseating, but I like that it is always calm in the clutch. He spent the blood Casey to try to divide by Antonia Marni Sookie after he was denied. And it worked! Go Jesus.
Pros:
* Marni kill Casey. I was not impressed when Marni telepathed a knife in the stomach Casey. It sounds so wrong to me that whining would Marni straight up kill anyone.
* Marni motivation to kill vampires and what people needed in the process. Which brings us to a couple of minutes later when Marni explains why it is so important to her, she always felt like an outcast and just want to fit in. Please. This evil is not so scary for me. I am always longing for Marianne season two.
* Marcus kidnaps his daughter Debbie and want to be her mother. Really, why this woman is so stupid to cheat on Alcide?
* Bill and Eric have agreed to kill themselves in exchange for the release of Sookie. I know it would show the extent of their devotion, but it sounded so wrong, too. These guys have lived for hundreds of years, not just up and agree to kill themselves. Also, Sookie was not really in danger here. Tell me that they just had to create a plan, we can not see because it was wack.
* Focus on Pam and Sookie Marni. But because the shield, scalding their own purposes and Jason.
* As soon as Jesus divides Marni Bill, he puzzles his bullets. What happens with "The Matrix" feel in this episode?
WTF:
* All blood reflection shots. Arty, yes. Although ugh.
* Eric in the final scene. Oh man, I miss Eric Nice. Because I was a little disappointed when I tore the heart to the aorta type and then used as a straw.
* Marni is not dead after all. The final image of last night's episode was floating on a bed of Lafayette and Jesus and into the body of Lafayette Marni. I guess that means we have to deal with it next week, too.
Yes, I am a little disappointed this season so far. What do you mean? Hoping that the final will intensify its efforts and brings things to a satisfactory conclusion.

True Blood Season 4 Final Countdown
This teaser for True Blood Season 4 finale is a bit old (it aired again when there were only three episodes left in the season, now there are only two), but it's quite disturbing. As always, the embedded video below for your viewing pleasure. Do not worry about being spoiled, and there is nothing in the video that will destroy the remaining episodes. It's all adrenaline.
It begins with "Welcome to Bon Temps' sign-off before the cast are looking for shots of different states to worry about. Some cry, some people stick to their guns. All are intercut with a welcome sign. You will find people to go further down. More pictures, this time with people burning and screaming. And then growing up around a few seconds of listening to people scared and screams and gunfire sounds you hear, like the collapse of the population Bon Temps. Finally, the finale The "Spilt Blood" words and someone shouts: "Somebody help us!" Cool, is not it?
True Blood is usually pretty amazing season finale, and if the teaser is really how things will go down as the final of the fourth season might be the best. The cast of the show continues to grow (there were 20 main characters at the beginning of the season) and it is rare that someone is not killed (Tommy died, but really? It does not matter). For a show to be relevant, do not be afraid to kill the main actors. There is no tension if we do not feel anyone could die. I will blood be spilled, and I want to be someone like Sam, Jason and Jessica.

"True Blood" Season 4 Spoilers: Terry And Andy Comparison, Input Scott Foley
True Blood Season 4 is the street to an end soon, but there are still plenty of drama to come in the remaining episodes. There are some family drama to come, with the introduction of a new character that will again in season 5. True Blood 2008 logo is the "Burning Down House" sneak peek shows Terry and Arlene in front of Andy V, but not its end. While Sookie and the other dealing with witches, werewolves and vampires, Terry to do with a problem, if it is not V, would be one that is very human: addiction. Todd Lowe, is watching what is coming, and TVGuide, and said. "And 'emotional and we look at things, Terry and Andy really have not seen before to get some hints' Bellefleur of the past, and we intend to learn a lot about who they were young children. [It] almost like a competition, as brothers, but they are cousins. "They seem to begin to address this" Let's get out of here ", but now it's time to get even more serious by Terry tries to leave by Andy V. well.
True Blood Season 4 Final / Season 5 Spoilers
End of season this year will introduce a new character, Patrick, played by Scott Foley. He is "an old army friend," and Terry, who "looked like [Terry] up." Lowe also looked back to life by Terry: "Do not you just walk away and find someone in the workplace, unless you have something important to share with him." He returns to Season 5, which HBO has already picked up, so it seems likely that, whatever, Patrick has to say could be a part of the cliffhanger, or what he really wants to remain invisible and unknown until the fifth season. Lowe also teased that they are going to explore "a little 'dark side, Terry," and wants a series of shows what happened to Terry when he was a soldier. It would certainly nice to see, and it would be nice to have a background story to him, especially his PTSD.
Looking at what's ahead of Terry in the blood season 4, right? True Blood has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy. The Emmys air Sept. 18 on FOX.

Mark Pellegrino Joins 'The Closer'
There are few actors who've had a greater run of big recurring roles than Mark Pellegrino. He was Rita's ex on Dexter DVD, Jacob on Lost, Lucifer on Supernatural and the powerful vampire Bishop on the U.S. remake of Being Human. Now Mark Pellegrino can add one more role to that list: The Closer. According to TVGuide, Pellegrino will have a recurring role on the upcoming final season of TNT's The Closer as lawyer Gavin Barker, who the show's creator James Duff described as "brisk, gay and formidable." You might think a lawyer might be Brenda's greatest foe, but actually, he's her greatest ally.
In the final season, one of the major storylines revolves around Brenda and the police department being sued by the mother of a murdered gang member. Fans will definitely remember the season 6 episode "War Zone," in which a gang member received full immunity and then revealed that he'd murdered two people. Brenda was so distraught over giving immunity to a murderer that she dropped him off at his house, knowing that his gang would almost certainly murder him. The final shot of that episode, with Brenda being driven off as the gang circled their prey, was truly unforgettable.
But now that case comes back to haunt her, and it's up to Pellegrino's lawyer to save her. It might be the beginning of the end, however, since it is the last season and the show will transition into a spin-off, Major Crimes, starring Mary McDonnell as Captain Raydor (who is thankfully promoted to a series regular for the final season). The Closer's seventh season premieres Monday, July 11 at 9pm on TNT and will be split into three separate runs, meaning it won't actually end until next summer.

New Nanny on Dexter Season 6
Well, they did say a hot little latina number will be one of the three new characters for Season 6 ofDexter DVD;. They also mentioned Dexter *may* get a new love interest. It would seem that both are wrapped up in the same little package, with the announcement of Aimee Garcia to the show. This follows the previous announcements of Colin Hanks and Mos Def, who have also landed significant roles on Dexter Season 6. Out with the old and in with the young.
Dexter Morgan has hired a new nanny that will help take care of his young son Harrison throughout the Showtime show’s sixth season, replacing Maria Doyle Kennedy as Sonya.Joining Dexter as the new hired help is actress Aimee Garcia playing Jamie, the younger sister of Dexter’s coworker Angel Batista. What are the odds that Jamie sees or finds something she wasn’t supposed to? What would surely make “Hell break loose.”Fresh off the cancellation of ABC’s Off the Map, TVLine reports that Dexter has recruited Map star Aimee Garcia for a new role in the coming season as baby Harrison’s new nanny Jamie, and none other than Angel Batista’s sister herself!
Could there be romance in the air, amidst all the blood spatter? After Lumen left (and thank Harry she did), we know Dexter doesn’t mind getting down a bit in the wake of his wife’s murder. Oh, and don’t worry about Dexter’s former nanny Sonya, as the report points out “sources confirm she either got fired, quit, or died.” Hmm. Alright then. With the roundup of new blood announced so far, it’s going to be a very interesting cheap Dexter DVD Season 6!

Lauren Velez to open N.Y. Latino theater festival
The fifth Latino International Theater Festival of New York, to be held June 4-18, will commence with a production of “They Call Me La Lupe” starring Lauren Velez, best known for her role in the Showtime television series “Dexter DVD.” In the one-woman show, Velez plays Guadalupe Victoria Yoli, whom the show business world knew as “La Lupe,” a Cuban singer who developed her career in New York and was the voice of Tito Puente’s orchestra.
La Lupe (1939-1992), remembered for hits like “Puro teatro” and “La tirana” and who was the first Latina to appear at Carnegie Hall, was acclaimed in her native New York as the queen of Latin soul. The stage production, written for Velez by Luis Caballero and “Dexter DVD” producer James Manos and directed by Veronica Caicedo, will be presented on June 4 at the Hostos Center for Arts and Culture in the Bronx, Susana Tubert, the founder of the festival, known as the TeatroStageFest, said in a communique. Velez, who is of Puerto Rican origin and who has also had roles on “Ugly Betty,” “Numbers” and “Law and Order,” among other programs, successfully presented the show in Miami as well as the Teatro La Tea in New York last year.

Aimee Garcia And Mos Def Join The Cast
Harrison, Dexter‘s son will have a new nanny. Off the Map actress Aimee Garcia is joining the cast as Jamie when Dex hires her to care for his son. Jamie also happens to be the kid sister of Dex’s colleague Batista.
But what happened to Sonya, the Irish au pair who cared for lil’ Harry last season? Sources said her character won’t continue as she either got fired, quit, or died.
Garcia will appear throughout the Showtime drama’s upcoming sixth season. Now, I expect her to deliver intelligent dialogues opposed to her character in Off The Map where she plays non-English-speaking native Alma.
In other casting news, Mos (previously named Mos Def) is joining the cast as well. Mos Def will play a hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion yet finds himself surrounded by violence. Michael C. Hall’s Dexter, a blood-spatter analyst who dispatches deserving criminals in his spare time, will reveal the truth of who he really is.
Its seasons 1-5 have been released on dvd at my site. You can check it out at http://www.izdvd.com/.

Two New Guest Stars And A Shiny New Poster
Check out the new “Bring It On” poster for Weeds Season 1-6 DVD Boxset which premieres Monday, June 27th at 10PM ET/PT.
Synopsis: Pot-selling single mom turned Mexican mafia princess turned escape artist Nancy Botwin turned herself in to the FBI rather than face certain death at the hands of her vengeful ex Esteban and his goon squad. It’s now three years later and Nancy is sprung from the joint and making a fresh start in New York City. Will Nancy be able to successfully reunite her far-flung family and keep her hands clean?
For those of you looking for a Weeds DVD update. There are some casting news and plot details for the upcoming new season, which premieres next month. We also have the new promotional poster for Weeds, along with one for The Big C for you to check out.
TV Line posted some casting updates along with a few plot details that some may find a bit spoilery, so if you don’t want to know anything about the upcoming season, scroll down and feast your eyes on the shiny, new posters for cheap weeds DVD and The Big C.
According to TVLine.com, Martin Short and Aiden Quinn have been signed on to appear in multiple episodes of Season 7. That's the vague update. Bigger spoilers ahead!
If you remember the Season 6 finale, things ended with Nancy being hauled off and arrested for the murder of Pilar, which was technically her son’s doing. Young Shane did the crime and Nancy did the time. Three years, to be exact. The seventh season picks up three years later with Nancy on probation following her prison sentence.
Andy, Silas, Shane and Doug spent some time in Copenhagen and are set to return to New York to meet up with Nancy, who will be living in a halfway house and trying to get her weed-peddling business back up and running. The Botwins take Manhattan? Love it!
Martin Short of Damages (also, the guilty pleasure romantic comedy Innerspace) will play an “eccentric attorney” and will appear in at least three episodes. Aidan Quinn of NBC’s upcoming new drama Prime Suspect (also, the guilty pleasure romantic comedy Practical Magic) will play a “charismatic CEO” in at least four episodes.
Showtime will air back-to-back premieres for Weeds DVD set and The Big C Season 2 on Monday, June 27th, starting at 10 PM ET/PT.
Dexter Season 6 Casting News
It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything about Showtime’s Dexter DVD, but the latest from TVLine might be a hint that news should start trickling out again, and it’s about frigging time too, since production on Season 6 starts at the end of this month.
No in-depth spoilers here, but suffice it to say that Season 5 ended with a few empty spaces that need to be filled since a few characters might not (or cheap Dexter DVD) be returning, so the team behind the lovable serial killer is looking for a few good people to fill these roles:I don’t really get any vibes from the description of Jamie, but I think Chicago Mike could prove to be a big thorn in Dexter Seasons 1-5 DVD Boxset’s side. He’s pretty good at covering his tracks with his current crew, but fresh blood on the scene, especially one with a “finely turned BS detector,” could offer up some new challenges for Dexter. There’s also potential for new intern Louis to stumble across some things he shouldn’t be discovering so this character could also add a nice little bit of drama to the upcoming season.
Sorry, Jaime, but so far you just sound like cannon fodder for a serial killer.Dexter isn’t all Michael C. Hall has lined up these days. After filming in Season 6 wraps, he’ll also be starring in Love, Scotch and Death with Vera Farmiga.

Review the film of Joe
Joe is a hard working man; he runs his own florist shop and living a happy life in America. He suffers from headaches and goes to see his doctor. Unfortunately, he gets the news he has a brain tumor. Joe meets Hush and wins lots of money on the horse. Finally the film was very famous all over the world on TV or DVD.
The plot which I have given for this film may seem a lot but this really all does happen within the first half hour of the film. I will admit that I am not really a fan of Billy Connelly but as it was only £1 in my local, more so as it is classed as a comedy. The role of Hush was played by Sharon Stone and again she was very good, the one problem which I had with her was the accent. I would not personally class this as a hilarious comedy, like what is claimed on the back of the northern exposure case but more of a dark comedy as it deals with the subject of death and gambling. The sets and props were very good and this film was shot on location as there were no badly added backdrops. It was a nice and fitting ending for a lovely film. The northern exposure dvd which I have does not have any bonus features. I found this to be a good length with the story moving at a good steady pace. I think this is very appropriate. I paid just £1 for my DVD and thought this was a complete bargain. There is a good mix of humor and emotional scenes which will keep all entertained

Northern Exposure: Alaska Motorcycle Touring
Phew! I breathed a silent sigh of relief as my large, heavy suitcase and bulging northern exposure disappeared down the conveyor belt at the Air New Zealand check-in counter. I was expecting to be told that I would have to pay for excess baggage. Packing for a motorcycle tour in Alaska had proven to be a challenge and involved packing helmet, boots, a full set of wet weather gear, sleeping bag, thermals, spares for apres -riding, plus a set of lighter weight summer gear (Draggin' Jeans plus Draggin' denim jacket). After six months of planning I was on my way!
Alaska is not the easiest of places to get to from New Zealand and in my case my travel arrangements necessitated an overnight stay in Los Angeles, giving me a spare afternoon to kill. It's always interesting to visit LaLa land and see what is going down, and this trip was no exception. Walking from my hotel, the first thing what struck me was the renewed outburst of patriotism on display everywhere. Like every store is competing to display the Stars and Stripes. Billboards proclaim "In God we Trust, United we Stand" and pick-up vehicles have the Stars and Stripes displayed on their tailgates. Some of this appears to be a genuine reaction to the events of 11th September- rallying around the flag in defiance of the unseen enemy - a kind of "don't f*** with us" message. However, some of the flag waving is nothing more than pure commercialism.
Supermarkets were selling rubbish bins decorated in the Stars and Stripes - a little tacky. The events of 9/11 were obvious in other ways. Clearing immigration at Los Angeles took 1-1/2 hour and I was told that this was a lot quicker than usual. The queue in the entry hall was a shambles with luggage trolleys snaking backwards and forwards through the entire hall. Next day, when leaving for Anchorage, I passed through three different metal detectors and had to rake my shoes off so they could be inspected by a security guard. I also had to turn my belt buckle over to show that there was
nothing being shielded by it.

One of my favorite all-time television series is “Northern Exposure”
One of my favorite all-time television series is “northern exposure” which ran on CBS from 1990 to 1995 with a total of 110 episodes. It is peculiar that I didn’t discover the show until 1996, but that didn’t hamper my enthusiasm for what I judged to be one of the best written shows ever. The show was set in the fictional town of Cicely Alaska. Some say it was modeled after the Inside Passage town of Haines, Alaska while others claim that Talkeetna, Alaska provided the motivation for the town in the show. In any case, the show wasn’t filmed in Alaska at all. It was filmed on location in Roslyn, Washington. The show developed a cult-like following and I must admit that I’m a card carrying member. It is the reason why I’ve always wanted to visit Roslyn. Fourteen years after the last season, fans still attend the Moosefest festival in Roslyn each year. Now that’s staying power!
For intangible reasons, the show led me to equate a small, rural town in the Pacific Northwest like the one depicted in the show with an openness to science. Why? In part, it is likely the nature of many of the main characters and their innate but understated intelligence. For instance, I loved the philosophical machinations of Chris Stevens (played by John Corbett), host of the “Chris in the Morning” radio show on the fictional KBHR station (pronounced “K-Bear”). Although not formally educated, Chris had time to engage in pure learning due to his time being incarcerated. I recall Chris on one particularly eloquent rant talking about the wave/particle duality of light. Then there was Maurice Minnifield (Northern Exposure Seasons 1-6 DVD Boxset ), the Mercury program astronaut character.
Several other characters carried their own intellectual weight such as Maggie O’Connell (played by Janine Turner) the bush pilot, Dr. Joel Fleischman (played by Rob Morrow) the New York doctor from Columbia University, Ruth-Anne Miller (played by Pet Phillips) the general store owner, and in his own way, Ed Chigliak (played by Darren Burrows) the native Alaskan film aficionado. All the characters had their own charm and memorable characteristics. Another reason I connect the show with scientific research is due to the climate. I’ve always thought of doing research in cold, snowy environs like Alaska. There’s something about sitting around a raging fire late at night, pondering the secrets of the cosmos.
I guess I could see myself playing a role in that kind of community. I’m sure people in a small town like that would liken me to a mad scientist, the astrophysicist that stay’s up late at night doing who-knows-what. I could see myself hanging out at the local tavern (known as “The northern exposure dvd boxset” in the show, see the attached photo) and trying to educate the local folks in the ways of physics, astronomy, and mathematics as I was chowing down on a moose burger.

Watching the Legendary Western Films
Western movies are a legendary genre of American filmmaking. They manage to capture the nostalgia of the era in North America .if you like to watch these films , here are some good films as bellow.
The Great Train Robbery is broadly thought of as the first commercial movie. It is a classic western and running at a length of just 12 minutes of the time. This film is said to have encouraged a number of other classic film moments.Stagecoach is also a western film. The film, follows the journey of a stagecoach and it makes its way across dangerous territory to the west. The Searchers is another movie starring the iconic John Wayne, The Searchers is an ambitious tale based around the abduction of two young girls by the Comanche Indians.
It is certainly an epic tale that you don't want to miss. John Wayne Memorabilia is still highly collectable today, proving a testament to his everlasting popularity.Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is also another good film, look this film if you are keener on a western featuring a notorious bank robbery. If you need some more convincing, the fact that it won four out of the seven Academy Awards it was nominated for should seal the deal.

northern exposureThe Vietnam War Films
If you like the films about war and fight, you might watch the Vietnam War films, here are some important Vietnam films.
Full Metal Jacket is a film by Stanley Kubrick about the 1987 war. The film follows a squad of U.S. Marines through their training and depicts some of the experiences of two of them in the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War. Platoon is a 1986 war film. It is the first of Stone's Vietnam War trilogy, followed by 1989's Born on the Fourth of July and 1993's Heaven & Earth. Stone wrote it based on his experiences as a U.S. infantryman in Vietnam. Then it won the Academy Award for Best Picture of 1986. The Deer Hunter is an epic 1978 American war drama film. The story takes place in Clairton, a small town on the Monongahela River south of Pittsburgh and then in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War.
A casualty of War is a war drama directed by Brian De Palma, based on the actual events of the incident on Hill 192 in 1966 during the Vietnam War. An article written by Daniel Lang for The New Yorker in 1969 was the movie's first source. Fox had previously starred in the dramas Light of Day and Bright Lights, Big City. John C. Reilly and John Leguizamo make their screen debuts in the film, and the latter would again star with Sean Penn in another picture by De Palma, 1993's Carlito's Way. here are many more war films you can watching on TV and DVD .if you like them ,you can watch them on your free time and have a good time with others.

something about Northern Exposure
Northern Exposure was a supplementary video blog for the Northern Scotland edition of the regional news programme, STV News at Six. The first blog was produced on Tuesday June 19, 2007 and as of June 30, 2009, 180 episodes had been made available. The blog was presented and produced by Norman Macleod, Andrea Brymer, Kirstin Gove, Chris Harvey and Louise Steel from STV North's studios in West Tullos, Aberdeen on a regular basis. Northern Exposure took a mostly light-hearted look behind-the-scenes at the North edition of STV News at Six (prior to that, North Tonight) and featured interviews with reporters & production staff.
Unfortunately, it is with significant disappointment that we have to write another update detailing bad news so soon after our decision not to attempt to ski to the Geographic North Pole due to the rapidly decreasing time-window. Having re-planned and repacked we departed Resolute Bay on Tuesday 8thMarch headed for the Magnetic North pole. Despite achieving good daily mileage in an unforgiving environment and feeling both confident and strong, it was with huge disappointment that yesterday morning we had to make the impalpable decision to be extracted from the ice.
This decision was not taken lightly and was made because Jules had sustained cold injuries to his thumb and a number of fingers on his right hand. Although not severe at this stage, if they had refrozen the consequences would have been very different. Medical advice has been sought since we arrived back in Resolute Bay and confirmed that our initial treatment and the decision, due to concerns over the injury worsening, not to continue was supported.

'Northern Exposure'Main Cast: Where Are They Now?
The summer has traditionally been a time when television reverts to reruns and an occasional fill-in series that rarely runs beyond Labor Day. In 1990, however, CBS premiered a new comedy-drama show that was definitely not the run-of-the-mill summertime fare. In fact, 'northern exposure' was a pioneer in many ways, ushering in the era of dramedy -- the blend of drama and comedy -- that is so popular today.
From the moment it debuted on July 12, 1990, until it ended its run on July 26, 1995, 'northern exposure dvd' was something special, and a large part of that success was due to the cast. The show was a launching pad for some of the younger actors, and a showcase for many others. On the anniversary of the show's premiere, we decided to catch up with the cast.
For Rob Morrow, 'northern exposure dvd set' was a blessing and curse. The former little known actor wasn't thrilled to be on a hit show and chaffed at the commitment to a long series run. His character, Joel Fleischman was a fish-out-of-water New York doctor stuck in Cicely, Alaska, until he worked off his college debt. Morrow was written out of 'northern exposure dvd boxset' in season 5.

Northern exposure prove that comedy is more than just getting-r-done
While New York is grittier, Los Angeles juicier, and Boston is wicked smahter, for some odd reason it is Montreal that, for two weeks every summer, becomes the epicenter of the comedy universe. The bastard French city's Just For Laughs festival is the Cannes of comedy (or, the northern exposure of comedy, for you hipster audiophiles) and during the fest, Montreal is awash with an international array of artists and journalists (myself included), not to mention industry folks who circle each other like vultures.
It's here, in the ultimate landscape of Anglo/Franco mash-up, that the world's finest comedians, both familiar and obscure, congregate to make their case for stardom — or whatever the comedic equivalent of stardom is. I drove up to Montreal with local comic Zach Sherwin, known onstage as MC Mr. Napkins (and who, in fact, was your pick for this year's Phoenix Best Local Comedian). Our trip, filled with artistic war stories, vegan snacks (northern exposure dvd), and a dip in Lake Champlain, gave me a chance to pick his brain about the state of the Boston comedy scene.
"Boston comedians are forged in the fires of all kinds of audiences," notes Kaplan, "from blue collar to northern exposure dvd set, from white people to other kinds of white people — and some international students, probably. As such, they're equipped to thrive anywhere, and they do. Boston is an amazing town for stand-up . . . and it developed a reputation of respect throughout the rest of this country. . . . When I've traveled the country, people always speak highly of our scene."
With good reason. The Boston comedians killed in their Montreal shows. Kaplan, part of the fest's "New Faces" line-up, delivered his nasal brand of amusing word-nerdery — "I strongly support gay marriage. I am gay-friendly, or, as they called me in high school, 'northern exposure dvd boxset' " — and was rewarded with callbacks for encore shows later in the week. After three stellar sets that featured his signature rap about blood-pressure instruments, "Sphygmomanometer," Sherwin found himself courted by Hollywood game-players. Mauss, as always, completely destroyed, winning over several late-night audiences with his wide-eyed, Masshole-via-Wisconsin cheddar-sharp filth.

Something related to Northern Exposure which you may interest in
The series was given a pair of consecutive Peabody Awards: in 1991–92 for the show's "depiction in a comedic and often poetic way, of the cultural clash between a transplanted New York City doctor and the townspeople of fictional Cicely, Alaska" and its stories of "people of different backgrounds and experiences" clashing but who ultimately "strive to accept their differences and co-exist."
It received a total of 57 award nominations during its five-year run and won 27, including the 1992 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, two additional Primetime Emmy Awards, four Creative Arts Emmy Awards, and two Golden Globes. The series was created by Brand-Falsey Productions. Critic John Leonard called Northern Exposure "the best of the best television in the past 10 years." Simon Pegg has stated that the series was one of the influences on the British sitcom Spaced.
The show started as an eight-episode summer replacement series on CBS in 1990. It returned for seven more episodes in spring 1991, then became a regular part of the network's schedule in 1991-92, where it was among the top 10 among 18 to 49-year-olds, as well as in 1992-93, and 1993-94. Its last season, 1994-95, included a gap during May 1995 sweeps when CBS broadcast other programming.
Northern Exposure began with a focus on Joel Fleischman as an audience-identification character for urban "lower 48" viewers, with storylines revolving around his fish-out-of-water difficulties adjusting to Alaska, and his hot-and-cold romantic involvements with Maggie O'Connell. As Northern Exposure DVD continued, supporting characters such as Chris, Ed, Holling, Shelly, Maurice and Ruth-Anne (along with recurring characters such as Adam and Eve, Barbara Semanski and Bernard) received more development.
Rob Morrow (Joel Fleischman) and his representatives spent much of Seasons 4 and 5 lobbying for an improved contract[citation needed], and intermittently threatened to leave the show. The producers responded by reducing Fleischman's role in the storylines, and introducing characters such as Mike Monroe (season 4) and Dr. Phil Capra (season 6) to partially compensate for the absence of Morrow.

The movie of Pride and Prejudice
There are a mass of good movies to stitch by out there, for example, Pride and Prejudice. I find, a lot of great classics that show women stitching in them. Pride and Prejudice is not only one of my favorite movies, but it also shows young ladies stitching in the parlor as they await the arrival of prospective suitors. Since there are many versions of Pride and Prejudice, the version I have enjoyed the most is from The Romance Collection Special Edition. It is, by far, the most accurate depiction of the book written by Jane Austen. Whenever possible, I will try to examine the stitching scenes very carefully to pick up subtle nuances about the stitching environment in the movie. With a southern air, North and South starring Patrick Swayze shows women left and right in their voluminous antebellum skirts stitching away while the men have "more important matters to attend to." then was a way of life and an all-time classic hobby. In fact, it was considered a major part of formal education for young girls and women alike; and the alphabet was often stitched into what we now call a sampler.
Whenever I see some characters in movies at home . It makes me feel connected to that person; and there is the thrill I get when I see someone enjoying a wholesome craft that I and so many others enjoy. Also, the movies are great movies to stitch by. For we are ladies of standing as we are all part of the great class of stitchers.

High art takes to the street
HIGH St, Northcote will become one big art gallery during Northern Exposure next month. Festival co-ordinator Benita Bunting said numerous gallery closures in the area have forced organisers to find creative ways of keeping the annual visual arts festival alive. The resultant search has turned up some unexpected arts venues.“People will be able to stumble across small works of art in all sorts of nooks and crannies along High St and this will brighten up their day,” she said.
Among artworks planned for the two-week festival from June 17 are a spider’s web in an alleyway made from emergency tape and everyday objects covered in gold leaf. This year’s festival will have three separate elements: High Views, comprising site-specific artworks made for shop windows; Small Works Small Spaces, comprising urban street art and; High Events, which will include activities such as artist talks, tours and an artisans market. Northcote photographer David Tatnall is among those already preparing works with his pinhole camera.
Last week he set up the large box-like camera to take a photograph in Palomino cafe, which will be displayed in the window during the festival. Tatnall said he began using pinhole cameras 15 years ago as an aid for teaching photography but became fascinated by the mysterious beauty of the image they produced. “The nature of pinhole photography requires exposure times that are long,” Tatnall said.“This often gives a ghostly and mysterious quality to the photograph.”For more information go to tvseies blog.

What is noteworthy about this episode of “Northern Exposure” is that it highlights one of the problems American Jews
Depictions of American Jews on television are often a barometer for the way in which Jewish writers, and presumably Jewish viewers, understand their Jewish identity. The 1990s series “Northern Exposure” featured the character of Joel Fleischman, a young Jewish doctor from New York who moved to rural Alaska to practice medicine as the town’s only physician. In one episode, when Joel receives word that his uncle Manny has died, he seeks a minyan with whom to say Kaddish. (Never mind that one is not obligated to say Kaddish for an uncle.)
Joel initially explains, “You need nine guys on a field to play baseball and 10 Jews in a room to say Kaddish.” So, the entire town of non-Jewish residents embarks on a mission to find nine other Jews to enable Joel to say Kaddish for his uncle. A successful businessman offers to fly them in and provide a stipend; the local innkeepers agree to provide accommodations; and the radio station launches a PR campaign. One by one, the residents of Cicily, Alaska track down random Jews from across the state. But just when it seems likely that Joel will have his minyan, he reasons that a minyan of Jews is meaningless. His community — his minyan — should be made up of his friends and neighbors, rather than fellow Jews with whom he has no relationship. The award-winning episode depicts the ways in which this American Jew’s ties to humanity as a whole supersede any meaningful connection to his particular people, even for the performance of a distinctive ritual act.
What is noteworthy about this episode of “Northern Exposure” is that it highlights one of the problems American Jews have with the concept of the minyan — namely, its particularity. The hard distinction between Jew and non-Jew is considered problematic in a multicultural, pluralistic society. There’s something additional that bothers contemporary American Jews with regard to a minyan. I have a feeling that if that episode of “Northern Exposure” were being written today, Joel Fleischman probably would decide that it is fine for him to recite Kaddish alone, by himself. The minyan, the required quorum of 10 adult Jews needed for public prayer and Torah reading, has been a core component of Jewish life throughout the millennia. Even the earliest sources about the minyan in Mishnah (Sanhedrin 1:6 and Megillah 4:3) assume its prior existence, offering a set of supporting verses from the Torah to lend greater credibility to an already existing rule, and clarifying which prayers require it.
The minyan represents a microcosm of the entirety of the Jewish people, and its requirement for the recitation of key prayers underscores how the Jewish people’s primary spiritual experiences are not solitary ones, but rather public and communal. Traditionally, a minyan comprised only men. The first official move to include women in a minyan came at the Frankfurt (Reform) Rabbinical Conference of 1845, when Rabbi Samuel Adler brought the issue before the rabbis in a resolution that boldly declared that the woman “has the same obligation as man to participate from youth up in the instruction in Judaism and in the public services, and that the custom not to include women in the number of individuals necessary for the conducting of a public service is only custom, and has no religious basis.”

The beautiful play "Is blurred every night
This story told us a girl and her parents, her younger brother. The younger brother is mischievous, likes playing the matches or power-driven device. But her mother favors the younger brother, did not permit the girl saying anything. Their family had invited a male gardener recently. This new gardener is graceful, but the manner is very strange. In a time the girl discovered that this gardener is a ghost actually.
The girl has fallen in love with this ghost. But he did not like her; One day, this gardener also walked finally. He runs away. The girl goes by car to overtake his vehicle; the girl then suddenly knew that she was the person who died. She got in the home, discovered her parents and the younger brother were the skeletons. She was angry, but her father said calmly “is that kitchen fire”
Finally, all ugly pictures have vanished, looks like the scene which the story begins, they look like all normal families and enjoys the delicacy in the clean comfortable family. This story's primary intention is “there was 99% in illusion happily, has 1% is real”.
