Desperate Housewives Cast Gets Dressed Up For A Season 8 Portrait

Desperate Housewives’ final season is set to premiere on ABC later this month. In anticipation of the beginning of the end of the drama-filled days on Wisteria Lane, a promotional photo featuring the series’ gorgeous leading ladies has made its way online. Check it out ahead!

Entertainment Weekly posted the photo (crediting Matthew Rolston/ABC), which features Vanessa Williams, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross, dressed up in shades grey and beige.

There don’t appear to be any apples present in the photo, however, it’s possible this is the cast's studio portrait and not the official promotional photo for the series’ eighth season. As good as the ladies look, the I've always loved the use of color in the Desperate Housewives photography. Hopefully we'll be seeing something with a bit more red in it soon.

Gossip Girl Season 5 Preview: Headed For Hollywood

I think all you Gossip Girl fans best live it up while you can because, let's face it, this unbelievably good-looking group of young actors can't stay stuck on one show forever. The show's leads are already branching out into film, especially Ms. Blake 'Best Legs Ever' Lively, and it's only a matter of time before someone throws in the delicately crafted, expensive hand-towels. Before I get too dramatic, I should stress they are returning for this season so put your mind at ease and go live it up in Hollywood with your favorite catty characters.

I would also make the wager that this 'ticking clock' countdown of the shows remaining time on air is why they are shaking things up this season and bringing the GG crew to Hollywood. I guess the strategy is go big or go home. For now, they are going big in Hollywood before hopefully retuning to the shows intended New York setting. Nothing says that you're desperate for story ideas than uprooting your entire cast of characters (I think entire, although it seems like Penn Badgely's Dan might not be going along for the ride) from the shows perennial, and I thought essential, New York setting and plopping them into a new locale. To be fair, it might just be a way to make this year a little more fun (in the sun... ugh) since maybe they are truly aware that the end is neigh.

If you recall, we last saw the Serena, Blair, Dan, Chuck and Nate (and all the other rich, snobby and snotty hangers-on that comprise the Gossip Girl gaggle) things were, well, getting a little complicated. Serena was off fighting Parallax with Green Lantern, Blair was singing country with Gwyneth Paltrow, Dan was being Emma Stone's love-interest in Easy A, Chuck was... wait, none of this happened on the show. I told you these twenty-somethings are branching out! You better enjoy this season in La-La Land with your favorite bunch of young socialites because, nothing, not even Blake Lively's amazing legs, lasts forever. However, we've still got this year and I'm sure they can find some drama on the west coast.

The Good, The Bad & The WTF: A Belated Bite Of “True Blood“

See my thoughts on Sunday evening "True Blood". Why so late you ask? Well, the long weekend was a bit wobbly on me. Because Sunday night felt like Saturday, I forgot to look, and next thing I knew was Monday and I was behind the "Bachelor Pad". But last night I finally caught up with Sookie, Eric and his crew. And generally, I felt a little ... failed.

When he jumps, good times and bad, and WTF episode this week. I can not believe that this brings the final Sunday. You really feel like this would be a sign in half.

The good:

* Pam toll Moon Goddess Emporium. "Can we skip these dips ** ts already Wiccan? I have a Mani / pedicure at the 4th"

* But Jason to stop the vampires from the flames I liked that she just arrived at the right time, and warned them that Sookie was inside. When everyone starts to say "f ** king Sookie" for assorted reasons, put everyone in their place. Go Jason!

* Alcide standing next to Sam, because hunting Marcus. Joe Manganiello is easily twice the size of Sam Trammell. Hot!

* Andy Bellefleur see the forest fairy. And when the light-ET finger thing, they have sex. This scene was fun, and I'm just happy that you are returning. I was worried that the plot was a block that is not coming back.

* Marnie Sookie breaks the magic. It 'been painfully demonstrated to us early on the scene Marni had harnessed the power of the sun, has a protective shield around the moon goddess, Emporium, and was so deadly to vampires. And so everything had to be dramatic when the assembled troops Marni (reluctantly), and were forced to move to the vampires plate. Fortunately, Sookie stops throughout the spell lightbombing lame scene.

* Jessica and Jason. Yay! These two are no more. When Jason was badly burned, Jessica saves. And he admits he has feelings for her.

* Jesus saves the day. Homedude course may have obtained this season a little nauseating, but I like that it is always calm in the clutch. He spent the blood Casey to try to divide by Antonia Marni Sookie after he was denied. And it worked! Go Jesus.

Pros:

* Marni kill Casey. I was not impressed when Marni telepathed a knife in the stomach Casey. It sounds so wrong to me that whining would Marni straight up kill anyone.

* Marni motivation to kill vampires and what people needed in the process. Which brings us to a couple of minutes later when Marni explains why it is so important to her, she always felt like an outcast and just want to fit in. Please. This evil is not so scary for me. I am always longing for Marianne season two.

* Marcus kidnaps his daughter Debbie and want to be her mother. Really, why this woman is so stupid to cheat on Alcide?

* Bill and Eric have agreed to kill themselves in exchange for the release of Sookie. I know it would show the extent of their devotion, but it sounded so wrong, too. These guys have lived for hundreds of years, not just up and agree to kill themselves. Also, Sookie was not really in danger here. Tell me that they just had to create a plan, we can not see because it was wack.

* Focus on Pam and Sookie Marni. But because the shield, scalding their own purposes and Jason.

* As soon as Jesus divides Marni Bill, he puzzles his bullets. What happens with "The Matrix" feel in this episode?

WTF:

* All blood reflection shots. Arty, yes. Although ugh.

* Eric in the final scene. Oh man, I miss Eric Nice. Because I was a little disappointed when I tore the heart to the aorta type and then used as a straw.

* Marni is not dead after all. The final image of last night's episode was floating on a bed of Lafayette and Jesus and into the body of Lafayette Marni. I guess that means we have to deal with it next week, too.

Yes, I am a little disappointed this season so far. What do you mean? Hoping that the final will intensify its efforts and brings things to a satisfactory conclusion.

True Blood Season 4 Final Countdown

This teaser for True Blood Season 4 finale is a bit old (it aired again when there were only three episodes left in the season, now there are only two), but it's quite disturbing. As always, the embedded video below for your viewing pleasure. Do not worry about being spoiled, and there is nothing in the video that will destroy the remaining episodes. It's all adrenaline.

It begins with "Welcome to Bon Temps' sign-off before the cast are looking for shots of different states to worry about. Some cry, some people stick to their guns. All are intercut with a welcome sign. You will find people to go further down. More pictures, this time with people burning and screaming. And then growing up around a few seconds of listening to people scared and screams and gunfire sounds you hear, like the collapse of the population Bon Temps. Finally, the finale The "Spilt Blood" words and someone shouts: "Somebody help us!" Cool, is not it?

True Blood is usually pretty amazing season finale, and if the teaser is really how things will go down as the final of the fourth season might be the best. The cast of the show continues to grow (there were 20 main characters at the beginning of the season) and it is rare that someone is not killed (Tommy died, but really? It does not matter). For a show to be relevant, do not be afraid to kill the main actors. There is no tension if we do not feel anyone could die. I will blood be spilled, and I want to be someone like Sam, Jason and Jessica.

"True Blood" Season 4 Spoilers: Terry And Andy Comparison, Input Scott Foley

True Blood Season 4 is the street to an end soon, but there are still plenty of drama to come in the remaining episodes. There are some family drama to come, with the introduction of a new character that will again in season 5. True Blood 2008 logo is the "Burning Down House" sneak peek shows Terry and Arlene in front of Andy V, but not its end. While Sookie and the other dealing with witches, werewolves and vampires, Terry to do with a problem, if it is not V, would be one that is very human: addiction. Todd Lowe, is watching what is coming, and TVGuide, and said. "And 'emotional and we look at things, Terry and Andy really have not seen before to get some hints' Bellefleur of the past, and we intend to learn a lot about who they were young children. [It] almost like a competition, as brothers, but they are cousins. "They seem to begin to address this" Let's get out of here ", but now it's time to get even more serious by Terry tries to leave by Andy V. well.

True Blood Season 4 Final / Season 5 Spoilers

End of season this year will introduce a new character, Patrick, played by Scott Foley. He is "an old army friend," and Terry, who "looked like [Terry] up." Lowe also looked back to life by Terry: "Do not you just walk away and find someone in the workplace, unless you have something important to share with him." He returns to Season 5, which HBO has already picked up, so it seems likely that, whatever, Patrick has to say could be a part of the cliffhanger, or what he really wants to remain invisible and unknown until the fifth season. Lowe also teased that they are going to explore "a little 'dark side, Terry," and wants a series of shows what happened to Terry when he was a soldier. It would certainly nice to see, and it would be nice to have a background story to him, especially his PTSD.

Looking at what's ahead of Terry in the blood season 4, right? True Blood has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy. The Emmys air Sept. 18 on FOX.

Mark Pellegrino Joins 'The Closer'

There are few actors who've had a greater run of big recurring roles than Mark Pellegrino. He was Rita's ex on Dexter DVD, Jacob on Lost, Lucifer on Supernatural and the powerful vampire Bishop on the U.S. remake of Being Human. Now Mark Pellegrino can add one more role to that list: The Closer. According to TVGuide, Pellegrino will have a recurring role on the upcoming final season of TNT's The Closer as lawyer Gavin Barker, who the show's creator James Duff described as "brisk, gay and formidable." You might think a lawyer might be Brenda's greatest foe, but actually, he's her greatest ally.

In the final season, one of the major storylines revolves around Brenda and the police department being sued by the mother of a murdered gang member. Fans will definitely remember the season 6 episode "War Zone," in which a gang member received full immunity and then revealed that he'd murdered two people. Brenda was so distraught over giving immunity to a murderer that she dropped him off at his house, knowing that his gang would almost certainly murder him. The final shot of that episode, with Brenda being driven off as the gang circled their prey, was truly unforgettable.

But now that case comes back to haunt her, and it's up to Pellegrino's lawyer to save her. It might be the beginning of the end, however, since it is the last season and the show will transition into a spin-off, Major Crimes, starring Mary McDonnell as Captain Raydor (who is thankfully promoted to a series regular for the final season). The Closer's seventh season premieres Monday, July 11 at 9pm on TNT and will be split into three separate runs, meaning it won't actually end until next summer.

New Nanny on Dexter Season 6

Well, they did say a hot little latina number will be one of the three new characters for Season 6 ofDexter DVD;. They also mentioned Dexter *may* get a new love interest. It would seem that both are wrapped up in the same little package, with the announcement of Aimee Garcia to the show. This follows the previous announcements of Colin Hanks and Mos Def, who have also landed significant roles on Dexter Season 6. Out with the old and in with the young.

Dexter Morgan has hired a new nanny that will help take care of his young son Harrison throughout the Showtime show’s sixth season, replacing Maria Doyle Kennedy as Sonya.Joining Dexter as the new hired help is actress Aimee Garcia playing Jamie, the younger sister of Dexter’s coworker Angel Batista. What are the odds that Jamie sees or finds something she wasn’t supposed to? What would surely make “Hell break loose.”Fresh off the cancellation of ABC’s Off the Map, TVLine reports that Dexter has recruited Map star Aimee Garcia for a new role in the coming season as baby Harrison’s new nanny Jamie, and none other than Angel Batista’s sister herself!

Could there be romance in the air, amidst all the blood spatter?  After Lumen left (and thank Harry she did), we know Dexter doesn’t mind getting down a bit in the wake of his wife’s murder. Oh, and don’t worry about Dexter’s former nanny Sonya, as the report points out “sources confirm she either got fired, quit, or died.”  Hmm.  Alright then. With the roundup of new blood announced so far, it’s going to be a very interesting  cheap Dexter DVD Season 6!
